Friends in the lost woods

There is so much that I love about this piece of artwork. I personally am a huge Skull Kid fan and to me you completely capture the entire essence of the character. I love how serene and mystical and calming it looks, but it also gives the viewer a sense of dread or makes the viewer sense there is a darker side to this friendship between these two characters. I also love how folk art like this looks-almost as if it was lost in time itself (no pun intended *wink wink*). God, I am just completely blown away by this! You are amazing!
